At Oxley Primary School we support the whole child. We know that students who are happy, healthy and safe are best able to access their learning and be their best selves. We follow the School Wide Positive Behaviour (SWPBS) behaviour management system.

School Values
Oxley Primary School has three core values
Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.
These values guide our students and staff to achieve their best. We show respect for each other and our school environment. Oxley students show responsibility by doing their best in their learning. Finally, our rural kids show resilience to take on challenges and bounce back from setbacks in their learning and social skills.
School Wide Positive Behaviour
Our mission statement for managing student behaviour is:
We believe efforts to help students to become socially competent members of society requires an ongoing and consistent whole-school approach, focused on teaching and encouragement.
We teach students how to behave and give them a chance to practise this and we reward students when they show appropriate behaviour. We correct student behaviour using restorative practise.
